NEWSLETTER: August 2, 2025

Dear friends of the Community Development NGO, the association Youth Exchanges without Borders and the participants,

The participants of this year’s youth exchange have returned home safely, carrying many new impressions and insights. However, the project is not yet complete. A follow-up session via video conference will allow the group to reflect on their experiences and learning.

At this point, we would like to sincerely thank  everyone who made the project “AZNAVOUR 25” possible. Special thanks go to our sponsors: the Movetia Foundation, the Rotary Club Luzern-Seetal, and the many generous individual donors.

We also warmly thank you, dear readers, for your interest and the many positive feedback messages about the project.

We say Tstesutyun (Ցտեսություն), uf widerluege, au revoir and goodbye with a few impressions from Armenia and hope to organize another joint activity next year.

Background information on the Swiss Interim Solution for Erasmus+:

After Switzerland’s 2014 referendum against the mass immigration agreement, the EU suspended talks on Switzerland’s participation in Erasmus+. To maintain student and staff mobility, Switzerland created a national program as a transitional solution. Funded by the Swiss government, it supports study, training, and teaching stays abroad. Managed by national agencies, this program ensures continued international exchange despite limited EU access. Switzerland aims for full Erasmus+ association in the future, but until then, the transitional solution safeguards opportunities for Swiss participants and cooperation with European partners
